For an eight night home stay language tour in LE MANS

 

  • DAY 1
  1. Depart London by Eurostar. Arrival in Le Mans at 17:19 hrs.
  2. Introduction to host families at the train station : 1 or 2 students per family as requested.
  3. Full board accommodation for 8 nights.
  • DAY 2
  1. At 08:30 hrs depart your home stay centre by coach for Amboise.
  2. At 10:00 hrs visit ‘Le Clos Lucé’, the country house where Leonardo Da Vinci spent the last four years of his life. Discover the astonishing collection of models of Leonardo Da Vinci’s inventions.
  3. Picnic lunch provided by host families in Amboise.
  4. At 13:00 hrs, return by coach to Le Mans, capital of La Sarthe, famous above all for “Les 24 Heures du Mans”, a 24 hour motor race that takes place once a year.
  5. At 14:30 hrs guided tour of the race track and the car trial followed by a visit (16:30 hrs) to the “Musée de l’Automobile” to see this magnificent collection of cars and other vehicles.
  6. At 17:00 hrs, return by coach to the centre of Le Mans for a ‘goûter’ and free time to discover the Old Town.
  7. Meet your host families place des Jacobins at 18:30hrs.

 

  • DAY 3
  1. Full day at leisure with host families.
  • DAY 4
  1. Full day at leisure with host families.
  • DAY 5
  1. 09:00 – 12:00 hrs : language lessons in small teaching groups.
  2. Picnic lunch.
  3. 14:00 – 17:00 hrs : work experience programme.
  4. The students will visit a local company, to experience and observe working life in France.
  5. Return to the host family at the end of the afternoon.
  • DAY 6
  1. 09:00 – 12:00 hrs : language lessons in small teaching groups.
  2. Picnic lunch.
  3. 14:00 – 17:00 hrs : work experience programme.
  4. The students will visit a local company, to experience and observe working life in France.
  5. Return to the host family at the end of the afternoon.

 

  • DAY 7
  1. 09:00 – 12:00 hrs : language lessons in small teaching groups.
  2. Picnic lunch.
  3. 14:00 – 17:00 hrs : work experience programme.
  4. The students will visit a local company, to experience and observe working life in France.
  5. Return to the host family at the end of the afternoon.
  • DAY 8
  1. 09:00 – 12:00 hrs : language lessons in small teaching groups.

  5.  Return to the host family at the end of the afternoon.
  • DAY 9
  1. Families will drop students at the train station with their luggage and a picnic at 09:30 hrs.
  2. Depart by Eurostar for London.
